The motivation for using the
PitchCommand Training Systems is that the pitcher wants to have razor fine
control over both pitch placement and speed.
The
PitchCommand System for developing the pitcher's control is now available.
The better command of the strike zone means the pitcher will be throwing a
lot of first pitch strikes and working ahead in the count. The following
chart from "Shutting Down Hitters" by Keith Madison illustrates the
importance of working ahead of the hitter.
